The Molly Malone statue, located on Suffolk Street in Dublin, celebrates one of Ireland's most enduring legends. Molly Malone, a fishmonger by day and possibly an entertainer by night, has become an emblem of Dublin's spirited past. Immortalised in the well-loved ballad "Cockles and Mussels," Molly is depicted pushing a cart of seafood symbolising Dublin's history and connection to the sea. Created by sculptor Jeanne Rynhart in 1988 fro Dublin's Millennium celebrations, the bronze statue quickly became a must-see landmark.
This iconic statue offers a delightful photo opportunity and a small piece of Dublin's soul
